Miss Boo loves to work in the garden and seems to have a tiny green thumb! Of course Boo loves it when her plants provide her with things to eat, though she’s very happy with her pansies that are beginning to flower at the moment as well.

When we moved to our new house in April, Boo was promised an apricot tree (apricots and strawberries are her very favourite foods). Last month we removed a tree to create a spot for the apricot tree, however we had to wait until this week before stone fruit trees arrived from over east. So yesterday we went to buy our Boo’s apricot tree, we Boo also decided to get a dwarf peach tree as our Boo’s dwarf nectarine from last year is doing so well and provided us with one extremely yummy nectarine!

They don’t look very impressive at the moment, but roll on spring when they start blossoming

Hooray for Boo and her little green thumb! I love your description of Boo calling the shots about which trees to get for HER garden. She sounds a lot like Miss V.

Al – Boo always calls the shots, about everything!

Jeanie – after having one bite of the nectarine in summer (Boo promises to share this year as she’s not a baby anymore), I am in love with tree ripened stone fruit

BA – It started with a tantrum over strawberry seeds. Boo thought there were strawberries in the packet!
