It came. It went.
Well there it goes for another year, and by Monday all trace of the celebration will be cleared away except for the memories and the new toys!
Christmas Eve was spent with the select family members. Boo, her cousins and her 2nd cousins had an absolute ball, and their great grandmother, Omi had a wonderful time watching them. The two generations sandwiched in between had a very pleasant evening, relaxing and chatting. Boo and her cousin, Bella provided the evenings entertainment as the two littlest, and most excited children!
Despite all the anticipation of Santa’s arrival, Boo did not arise before 9am Christmas morning. Santa brought everything she asked for (two toy kittens and lollies) and more, and mummy gave her the long wished for Dora the Explorer dressing table.
Christmas Day was spent at my parents with my step-fathers side of the family. There was the inaugural Christmas Day cricket match at the park across the street, complete with two little WAGS – wives and girlfriends of players (in this case, they were the pram patrol toddlers)!
Finally, I am enjoying an evening of nothingness at home.
