On our my hunt for Friday fun, I decided a trip to Caversham Wildlife Park was in order.

We had way more fun than I ever would have imagined (and there is lots of talk by Boo about next time we go).

Here is a selection of some of my favourite photos… ooh its tough choosing, I love them all!

Bottle Feeding a Lamb

Being Eaten by a Goat

Feeding Kangaroos

Posing with ‘Big Bubs’ the Wombat

Sleeping Koalas

All Out of Food

Other fun included sheep shearing, milking a cow, and being engulfed by bunnies.

Boo in her usual precocious way, advised an American tourist she should be wearing a hat, and then proceeded to question whether the woman was wearing sunscreen!

And gave some Scottish tourists some advice regarding stroking the koalas, with an accompanying demonstration! Like she’s ever done it before!!!

Our highlight was having the tiny pink furless joeys, poke their legs out, and then their little heads out at us while we were feeding their mothers. No photos as they were out too briefly for me to catch the shot!

Hope you all did something fun this weekend

Dina – It was incredibly fun. Map was easy to read, and enclosures were sign posted (mainly because it’s not Tasmania) ;)

We’ll take you when you come to Perth.

Jeanie – Boo certainly is growing up… way, way to quick!

Guera – Please do come next time, it certainly is a great day out for kids and grown-ups!

    Boo is adorable.
But be Very Afraid of those seemingly cute little fury things she’s with … they can go all ninja on you and bite your jugular!

  6. M+B says:

Amanda – I’ll be very wary of cute, furry, wildlife from now on ;)

  7. [...] was out to the Caversham Wildlife Park (our previous visit is here) followed by some wine, beer, chocolate and cheese tasting in the Swan [...]
