A Logical Choice
For Mother’s Day I wanted slippers because one day soon it will be cold enough to wear slippers in Perth. One day soon (maybe tomorrow), autumn and then winter WILL arrive. Don’t get me wrong, I prefer the sun, the blue sky and the warmth but the inevitable will eventuate…
Boo had other ideas and presented me with a cooking apron because apparently I NEED ONE!
Maybe she has a point? Even if it is only to save me from my helper’s hands!

Oh, I love that BOTH hands in the bowl. And in the next picture – she ALMOST has that “Live Long And Prosper” thing down, eh? All she needs is just a little more practice ….
Does yours have Dora on it as well?
You’re right about the impending cold weather, unfortunately. I think tomorrow might spell the end of our balmy Autumn. I just bought a pair of slippers the other day myself.
LOL…. I love my girls dearly – but I would have been mortified if they had presented me with a cooking apron!!!!!
Gorgeous photos of Boo. She looks more and more grown up (and more and more like you) every time I see her!
That’s just gorgeous, isn’t it? Priceless moments for sure.
What was it again with being not so keen on choclate?
Lou – I Bet you’re jealous and would just love to be able to fit both your hands in the bowl
Guera – Surprise! Mine had daisies on it
Alison – *LOL* I know how much you love to cook. I bet you would love to be seen as a domestic goddess (in cooking apron and all)!
Rhubarb – Way more gorgeous when it’s not looking like a chocolate brownie!
Iris – Didn’t you know there is a difference between chocolate brownie mix and ACTUAL chocolate!
I must add she didn’t eat any brownies… but from experience I can tell you they were delicious
Did she choose it all on her own? I think that’s a gorgeous gift!
Love the choccie hands! xox
I got slippers last year – this year I got nothing…
Fe – I thought of your Boo and his head in the bowl as we made brownies
Yes, she chose the gift on her own. She asked grandma to take her shopping for a cooking apron, and wouldn’t be swayed from her decision.
Jeanie – I bought my own slippers
darling boy has that wee dora apron too – so cute le xox
