Away from the Posse
Remember back a couple of weeks ago to when I blogged about my concerns of Boo being in a little clique of friends? Today my concerns were relieved a fair bit.
Boo went to a birthday party today, and I expected to see the usual cohort of girls, the posse and those that are often included into their inner sanctum.
What a surprise I got… a party minus the fabulous four and their usual band of friends.
I know Boo plays with the birthday girl often. What I did not know was that the birthday girl is NOT friends with Boo’s other friends, which Boo confirmed after the party.
It was a relief to watch her socialise so well with a whole different group of friends. A quieter, more reserved group of girls than her usual, robustly confident group of friends.

It is lovely when we realise that our children are nice people, and are friendly with children we can like!
Just when they start to worry us they pull something out of their hats that make us feel all is right in the world… kids! Amazing small people!
