I’m not really sure what happened to September? Alright I do know! One week in Sydney, next week in Rottnest, almost two weeks computerless. Then there has been renovation progression, and being that my computer resides in the dust renovation zone, access to the net has been limited to evenings… but since the tradies arrive before my usual waking time, I have been falling asleep with Boo at about 7.30-8pm so have lost a week of evenings!

My grandma turned 90. Seventeen of the 20 great-grandchildren presented her with a flower (two live over east, with the one great-great-grandchild, and I’m not sure where the other one was).

There was a trip to the Royal Show with Boo the daredevil. Kiddie Alley rides this year are just miniature versions of the adult ones – made for those that don’t meet height requirements down in sideshow alley! I asked Boo if she needed me to come on some of the rides with her – I was met with a definitive NO each time!

The renovations are slowly progressing. My house is under siege by dust (red brick dust, plaster dust and the usual dust bunnies under the beds). I am still without laundry facilities but the brickwork, exposed plumbing and the very special wood panelling are all a thing of the past!

Now if anyone has some spare time and wishes to help paint later this week, you’re more than welcome to bring your paint brush!

90 years! I have to say, your Grandma looks much younger! :-)
Looks like you had quite a fun time!
    Soryy bout the dust, though!

Gorgeous girl – Gosh she looks more like you every day, Lani!

I cannot believe September is almost over, but unlike you I’m still in denial about how we got here!

Sounds like you and Boo have had a ball :-)

I love that the great grandchildren all gave her flowers, what a lovely idea and a great way to commemorate the occasion! As for your grown-up girl choosing to go on all the rides by herself, amazing. Its great that we are growing brave, confident young women, we should be proud!

When did Boo look so old all of a sudden? And your Grandmother look so young?

September has flown by hasn’t it? Next thing you know we’ll all be blogging about Christmas!

What a busy September you have had and how exciting to have the renovations so well underway. Painting is the fun part!
