…Santa is coming very soon. In fact he’ll be in our local shopping centre tomorrow!

So while he’s not there the ‘Santa-phobic’ child thought she’d check out his digs… There is very little chance Boo will be this close to THE chair again this year!

Lucky I had my mobile handy… unlucky the point and shoot in my bag has flat batteries!

    awww, sweet Boo.

    Our Santa arrives tomorrow too.
We’ll be missing his grand entrance.
Ivy and Noah are itching to see him though. It’s the first year, really that they have felt the build up to Christmas season.

Too cute… hoho ho here comes Santa.
    Hope Boo changes her mind.
We got a free santa photo of sorts last year. I am sure they’ll be ready this year.

  3. Trish says:

I just can’t believe he is coming …it’s way to early. Just saying it’s so wrong ! LOL

  4. h&b says:

whoa – so early, so early !!

My kids don’t seem to mind him. WOnder how the wee one will react this year though ?
    :)

  5. Fancy stage! Is that at the centre down the round from you? I was there yesterday but didn’t see it – is it round in the food court?

Cute photo of Boo too – maybe this year she’ll be alright – you never know!!

Tiff – We will definitely be avoiding the grand entrance. Boo’s had Christmas sussed for the past couple of years, but I think it all stems from not having to see Santa :)

Trish – I don’t mind if she changes her mind or not. She knows she can write a letter or email Santa her wish list and he will still bring her gifts (even though he’s not allowed in the house)!

h&b – My child has an unfounded fear of any adult with masks, face paint or Santa style beards!

SRM – Over by Coles this year at the entre down from me!

You saw her with the White Rabbit at Alice in Wonderland… Do you think she’ll really be alright this year?

  7. melissa says:

That was clever of you! She looks so holiday-ready up there. :)

  8. Iris says:

Agree, too early! Doesn´t it steal the special idea about Christmas from the kids?

Agree #2 – I was afraid of Santa, too.
Think it was brave by Boo to take a seat!!! Go, Boo! :-)

  9. Tracey says:

My youngest never ever sat on Santa’s lap. Never. She was always too scared, and I just decided it wasn’t worth forcing it. (The other two had also been wary, but had come round). Maybe she’s the smart one – in what other situation would it be ok to encourage your kid to go and sit on some strange man’s lap?

I have a feeling Boo will have come round to the idea, and if not this year, then next, she’ll be bouncing up for a Santa photo completely off her own bat.

(I reckon November is too early too!)

I still have one who doesn’t like Santa and she’s 6. Last year both girls decided that Santa’s angels would bring them their gifts so that Zoe didn’t have to be freaked out by Santa.

I’m completely ok with the no Santa thing.. I just wish the rest of the world was. The number of people who say stupid things like ‘if you don’t like santa you won’t get any presents’ drives me nuts!

Melissa – She is very holiday ready :/

Iris – She knew Santa wasn’t gonna be anywhere near the chair on that day

Tracy – I’m with you – why would I encourage my child to sit on a stranger’s knee?

Kate – Santa’s angels is an awesome idea. I wish I’d thought of that! Our presents get left by the door due to Christmas Eve freak outs that Santa might come in our house!!!
