Boo went on her first excursion today. She came home from kindy so excited as I forgot to mention it after signing the form yesterday afternoon.

She wrote a letter to Santa requesting a fishing rod and a star (oops Santa didn’t know about those things and hasn’t got them in stock this year)! Then she walked to the real mailbox before being allowed to play in the playground near the mailbox.

Today I was asked to sign another form, for next weeks excursion. As a Christmas treat, kindy is taking a few kids each day on a days outing.

First they will go to the cinema to see ‘Where the Wild Things Are.’

Followed by lunch at the golden arches restaurant.

Followed by the indoor playground.

When I say a Christmas treat, I really mean a Christmas treat. No charge to the parents! And really there shouldn’t be any charge with the extortion money I pay for her to attend!

JJ – She’s not really convinced the cinema is a good place for an excursion :)

Trish – It’s a fabulous treat. I do LOVE our kindy!

Jeanie – No mummies do not get to go :( She’s forgotten all about the fishing rod now!

Amanda – I REALLY want to see WTWTA too. I have heard it’s excellent but probably not great for small children but Boo does love that book so we’ll see?
