Surfer Chick
On a hot day in Perth there is nothing Boo likes better than getting on down to the beach.
It’s even better when Papa comes because he takes her way out… lucky for her Grandma and Papa only live a short walk from the beach!
She spends most of her time with her trusty friend Tinkerbell
Doing this!
Though apparently the waves weren’t big enough for her liking today!
It’s always nice to know someone’s watching for sharks!
And after an hour or so of surfing, there’s shell art to be done
Boo loves surfing nearly as much as ballet, and there were great dilemma’s as to whether to get ballerinas or surfie chicks on her name labels for kindy!

Awww, thanks for sharing! After yet another grey and snowish day this is soooo good to see
Cute pics, too, looks like a lot of fun!
Gorgeous.
I’m the most unlikely looking beach babe you’ve ever seen (I’m whiter than the sand thanks to slip slop slap) but I love it … and this beach looks like the perfect place for littlies to learn to boogie board. …and Boo obviously already has boogie board style
How kewl is that!!! And go Papa!!!
Boo looks right at home catching waves. I spy her mum’s adventurous streak…!
We haven’t been to the beach for a while. We usually go up to the river where the only waves are from passing boats and there is less risk of rips or currents. I’ll admit it – I freak out with 5 kids around water! lol
My son too loves the beach. In fact we’re off there today to have a bit of a boogie board. Can’t wait – I love it too. Go the surfie chick name labels!
How cuuuute !! Can’t imagine my boy on a boogie board – she’s an adventurer for sure
How great is it that she can ‘boogie board’? Awesome.
Bibi would be very jealous of Boo’s “boogie boog” (as she calls them)
Iris – Been very hot here
Amanda – My nephew (who has very olive skin) told me I should put Boo in the sun more often and turn her every 2 hours because she’s so white! Oh and this beach is where the real surfer’s hang out and yesterday just happened to be very tame.
Al – Think she’s way more adventurous than me! I freak out taking her in past the wave breaks by myself… no way I could do it with 5!
Jen – She chose the ballerinas
H&B – See I can imagine your boys on boogie boards, but then again I don’t know them
Melody – Great when my step-father’s with us not so great when it’s just me. Apparently, I always get her dumped!
Sunny – You should bring the girls down for a ‘boogie boog’ sometime
Good post… I’m always on the lookout for good blogs.
Hello!
So many lovely pics! We must visit Perth one day
