Some smart little hacker came for a play on my blog.

Whilst they were having their fun, the site went down. If you dropped by yesterday and couldn’t find me, you know why!

My blog was bombarded by spammers in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Mid-morning they commandeered the site, removing a couple of posts, and the comments that went with them, and moving all my widgets about! If you dropped by yesterday, and the site looked different, you know why!

If you’ve left comments in the past couple of days, and they are no longer here, you know why!

I spent most of the afternoon restoring my blog, I think I’m nearly done. Thankfully I had local copies of the missing posts, but unfortunately while I had no access I was cleaning out my email inboxes which contained copies of the comments! Thank you to those that left them.

I have beefed up security so hopefully, the b*&%*# won’t strike again :(
