One day next week, Boo and I are going to be cooped up for 5-6 hours on a plane. A budget airline with no in-flight entertainment. So again I am creating a goody bag of entertainment (that I may also enjoy).

At the moment Boo loves games. Snakes and Ladder, Operation etc but most of all she loves card games. Unfortunately, I am so over Snap, Fish, Memory and Old Maid *yawn*

I was wondering whether she was old enough for Uno, I figure I could cope with that for a couple of hours, maybe?

As I stood staring at the Uno cards (stating Ages 7+) and thinking ‘my kid’s bright, but is she bright enough to catch on?’ Look what I saw from the corner of my eye -

P4293691

Flitterific (as the instruction sheet tells me), Disney Fairy Uno!

At a few dollars more than the original cards, I know I’ll have no problem teaching her if Tinkerbell is involved. Matching fairy pictures is way more exciting than matching coloured numbers when your a four year old girl :)

ETA: After a bumpy beginning (because UNO isn’t a great special ‘treat’ after school). Boo has taken to UNO, picked up the rules immediately, and has wanted to play ALL day.

    What?! Six hours without entertainment??
Well, good luck with the fairy-UNO, bet Boo´ll love it :-) , 7+ is just an advise, right?

What are you up to? Holiday?

Iris – 7+ is just advice. Boo has the game completely, except for the fact that her hands are too small to hold all her cards ;)

    I´m impressed! :-)
Where do you go by plane?

Perfect , I wonder if they have a boys version, though my boys like faeries too ;)
We just leave cards on the table (well playing dominos as they haven’t got it completely)
Ps I am still visiting here though I always seem to be catching up on reading your blog ; )
Its not because I don’t want to…. I just haven’t had the time. I think about my blogging friends so often and I appreciate your support.
Hope you have a fab holiday and the in flight plans keep you sane.

    I love those uno cards!
(I’ve just discovered that my naughty bad feed reader has not been updating some of my fav blogs so I’ve got a lot of catching up to do here!)
