Aspiring Gymnast

P6284069 Boo started gymnastics a couple of weeks ago. In only her 2nd  class, she earned the “Purple  Colour Award”, and now sports a purple stripe on her T-Shirt.

Of course she now thinks she is the world’s best gymnast *sigh*

Watch out, Nadia Comaneci!!!

To be honest, the world class gymnasts are fairly safe.

To earn her stripe, Boo had to rock in a fetal position 3 times, log roll with a straight body 3 times, demonstrate 2 –footed jumps, jump from a height with a nice gymnastic finish, sit in a tuck position, lie flat with a straight body, run in a straight line, and bear walk (walk on hands and feet)!

Between you and me, I think the next two awards are fairly much in the bag too!

    Yay for sports – and Boo!
    Seriously.. I live right opposite a cultural centre that has also a kindy – sometimes it´s really kinda alarming how bad some kids are in controlling their bodies – as if they´re stuck all tiny-life-long at the TV/PC…
