Yesterday was the end of term party for Boo’s kindy class. This term has been spent learning about the ocean, the creatures that live in the ocean, and all things seaworthy. It was fitting that the end of term party was a pirate party…

On the afternoon before, there was NO WAY Boo was going to the party as a pirate, despite owning pirate accessories and  clothes we could make pirate-y!

Apparently, she was going as a butterfly!

A quick trip to the shops to get some extra ingredients for cupcakes to take to the party, resulted in spotting the PERFECT pirate costume for my princess. Despite funds being a bit tight at the moment, I bought it for her.

Miss Boo needed a bit of cheering up, she’d sobbed herself to sleep the night before over friendships *sheesh* I thought this drama started in pre-teens not four and a half year olds!

The party was great fun, and Boo cannot wait until her pirate outfit is clean, and she can wear it again… so she is wearing it dirty, today ;)

Oh and I think I should join in Brenda’s FlogYoBlog Friday

she looks gorgeous! Wait until I show Ivy!

I so understand buying things even when funds are tight. Sometimes retail therapy is everything and then some.

Ayyyy, Matey, bet you can´t wait for “Talk Like A Pirate Day” in September, huh?
Very, very cute costume – and girl :-)

I used to love saying that I wanted to be a pirate when people asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up.
