Sometimes you get to overhear some excellent stories told by 4 year olds.

Sometimes they’re conversations that there is no way are you going to join in!

This is one of THOSE conversations between Boo and her friend Em, from the backseat of the car.

Boo:  When is Molly going to have puppies? (Molly is Em’s dog)

Em:    Maybe soon? A boy dog came to our house the other day, because you need a boy dog and a girl dog to make the puppies.

Boo: What was the boy dog’s name?

Em:  Hmm… I can’t remember. But Boo, do you know what happened?

Boo: No!

Em:  The boy dog came for a whole day, and a whole night. And the boy dog kept going on top of Molly. Molly was on the bottom and the boy dog was on the top. The boy dog kept going on top of Molly.

Em and Boo, are now having fits of giggles discussing how the boy dog was on the top and the girl dog was on the bottom. I’m pretty sure Boo had absolutely no idea of what that all meant ;)

Boo: Em maybe we could pretend to be dogs? I’ll be the girl dog on the bottom, and you can be the boy dog on top.

More fits of giggles.

Me thinking. Ah, yeah? Maybe not
