Two Excellent Father Figures

My dad, Grandad G lives on the other side of the country. My brother and I have not spoken to him in a long time, and while my nephew has met him, neither my niece or Boo have. There are obligatory birthday and Christmas cards, and $25 money cards (gift vouchers) for the little people on their birthdays and Christmas.

Boo’s donor dad, although called dad by Boo does not play a huge fatherly role in her life.

However, we are amazingly blessed to have two wonderful men in our lives.

    How lovely for Boo. I too grew up with a step-dad as my ‘real to me’ Dad and a complicated collection of male role models in my life!

    Boo looks so happy with both of them. I’m glad she has those men in her life.
